My original work with letters of the alphabet came before there was the reproduction technology we have today.  There was no Xerox and there were no computers.  While working as a temp during grad school I was fortunate to learn one of the very first word processors.  I did some experimental work on that original word processing machine (called a Vydec).  I did a few experiments with tongue twisters.

Today there is so much more one can do.  I took up the tongue twister once again producing works of Concrete Poetry.  These videos show how I'm using the repetitive qualities of tongue twisters.  Some of these images will become books.

A full selection of these works can be seen on kareneubel.org, or by clicking on the blue "HISTORY" button.

Below is a sample of images from my series of Tongue Twisters, chosen because of their repetitive qualities.

The black and white tongue twister is "Unique New York".

The tongue twisters in color are as follows:

"Something in a thirty-acre thermal thicket of thorns and thistles thumped and thundered threatening the three-D thoughts of Matthew the thug - although, theatrically, it was only the thirteen-thousand thistles and thorns through the underneath of his thigh that the thirty year old thug thought of that morning."

...and...

"He thrusts his fists against the post, and still insists he sees the ghosts"
